Capricorn Full Moon, June 24, 2021

This Capricorn Full Moon will be highlighting habits and patterns that have been stuck with you for a long time, and are now hurt you as a result of their persistence because you are a different person now than when those patterns formed. There is a deep exhale coming. I think one of the very interesting things about this Full Moon is the sextile to Jupiter. This will be the last Full Moon we have until January 2nd, 2022 that has Jupiter in Pisces aspecting the Lunation. The next two will be in Aquarius (averse to Pisces).

Having the Moon in Capricorn during this transit is so interesting and how it coincides with these Jupiter in Pisces themes that have started since May 13th, 2021 and will persist until July 28th, 2021.

This Full Moon at 3º27’ Capricorn sextiles Jupiter at 2º09’ of Pisces. There is something about Capricorn Moon’s in person, and in making sense of the combination of symbols, is that where the Moon is a fast changing, swiftly moving, and luminous planet. There is a frequency with the Moon. Interesting that sound frequencies can effect the water & that the Moon in its Detriment in Capricorn is being in an environment where things are much slower, and much more stretched out. Saturn literally takes 2 1/2 years to move through a sign, the Moon takes 2 1/2 DAYS. Theres an inherent connection between time, the Moon, & Saturn. If the Moon is our cycles and habits, and the unconscious, the Moon in a Saturn ruled sign is about how we’ve held on to certain habits that we have outgrown but still kept with it. Theres a lot about examining how we should go about releasing the past. And this is the PAST, like shit that happened DECADAES ago, and understanding how the actions of others in your life have had a ripple effect into effecting you now, and seeing what you can do to free yourself from the habits and behaviors that are destructive to your happiness.

The Moon in Capricorn sees the value in thing in the long run, because there is this natural perceptiveness of the way circumstances will shift as the ebb and flow of life happens quite enough. The Moon zooms out on time in Capricorn. How do our actions and things we chose on a daily basis effect us in the long term? It could be something as simple as drinking coffee. How does that coffee effect us in the long term? How does it effect us throughout the day? The Moon in Capricorn is how habits stick to us. Capricorn being ruled by Saturn, as a malefic planet, is that sometimes those habits may be rotting because Saturn represents decay. Rotting wood is not good for the infrastructure of our house. Habits that rot away at your joy ruin the infrastructure of your fulfillment. This Full Moon is about choosing YOU first, and how to release that which has been passed on to you by no volition of your own. Who do you chose to be connected to, and how does being connected to certain people drain you of life rather than sustain it?

Venus is opposite Pluto, and that Venus will be ruled by the FULL MOON ITSELF! Venus opposite Pluto can be understanding that there are people in your life who are really draining of your energy, and that having them see their way out may be the best thing for you in the long term. Its not always pretty with Venus/Pluto, emotions are messy, and they can be messy and still perfectly valid. The way we feel gets us overwhelmed with passion, sometimes showing up as anger, crying, fights because there is the need for empathy, but chose WHO you want empathy from. We all need something to keep us going. We all are dependent and that is okay. It is okay to be dependent. Don’t think that just because you have needs that it is a bad thing; hyper-indepndence exist just as equally as co-dependence. Its important to find balance. But at the end of the day, us wanting the needs is not something that is bad. Choosing your source and lineage of who or what you are needing from is restructuring your future because of present actions. And sometimes when we make the choice for the future, we isolate ourselves in the present, and that may be a lonely feeling sometimes. However Saturn is not about having satisfaction in the present moment (a nod to Saturn in Aries). Saturn is about the structure you have being the thing that will bring you the most satisfaction at the end of the day, because if you do not have what you need to be sustained as life on Earth, everything does not matter at the end of the day. All of our needs are different, but how can we make sure that our needs are met NOT JUST in the present, but in the long term as well?

Saturn is about doing things right, but who determines what right means? There is no *universal* sense of what is right, but that means you have to do what is right for YOU. Choosing yourself is not always an easy choice. It actually is never an easy choice to chose yourself. All of this is easy to say, however Saturn lets us know that things take TIME. But the earlier you start, the more progress you’ll make over time, slowly. Saturn works slow. Saturn is patient. Saturn want’s it to be done right up to its standards. And sometimes you need TIME. The idea of needing TIME is going to be important for this Full Moon. Sometimes all we need is time. Time to be alone. Time to reflect. Time to think deeply & really reflect on what one is feeling, and the maturation of that reflection only gets better with age. Saturn is things getting older, but why is older always considered less powerful or potent.

Saturn is how something, with time and age, matures beautifully. Saturn is the fine wine you drink thats been fermenting for 100 years. Saturn is the aged cheese.

Saturn is fermentation.

We all marinate our food. We all let it sit in sauces, spices, broth. You know how soup taste better the next day? Its been sitting in all that juice and its being distributed evenly around so they may all be merged together. This is the Moon in Capricorn.

The question for this Full Moon:

What is fermenting in your life like fine wine? and. What is going bad like spoiled milk.
