Monday Oct 11th

(12:30 AM ET) Moon in Sagittarius sextile Jupiter at 22º24' Sagittarius

VOID MOON: 12:30 AM to 1:14 PM ET

(1:14 PM ET) Moon enters Capricorn

Monday starts off chill. The Moon applies to a nice sextile to Jupiter in Sagittarius, after the Moon went over Venus and the South Node last Saturday. This gives us an opportunity to connect with friends, solidify plans, travels, and adventures. Sextiles provide support for collaboration and honesty, such as gaining support from friends, restoring you with a sense This will be one of the last aspects made to Jupiter before Jupiter stations Direct next Monday, October 18th. Only 7 more days of Mercury Retrograde. Talk to a friend, ask them for advice, look for solutions to gain support from others. The Moon will go void for a good portion of the day (12 hours and 44 minutes), so it's best to take time to reflect not have to worry about where the arrow will land. Focus less on the where, and more on the going. Any movement is movement. Just know when and where to direct it. Again, that doesn't doesn't need to be made when the Moon is void. The Moon will the enter Capricorn, and won't be making any aspects to any planets for around 22 hours and 26 minutes. Wait and listen when the Moon enters Capricorn. The Moon entering Saturn's sign the day after Saturn stations Direct waste no time with understanding what the past Saturn Retrograde cycle has been about for the past few months. Look towards what house Aquarius rules in your chart to identify what themes this can bring up

February 14th, 2021: Saturn entered Shadow at 6º52' Aquarius

May 23rd, 2021: Saturn stationed Retrograde at 13º31' Aquarius

Oct 10th, 2021: Saturn stationed Direct at 6º52' Aquarius

Jan 15th, 2022: Saturn leaves Shadow at 13º31' Aquarius

Tuesday Oct 12th

(11:50 AM ET) Moon in Capricorn square Mercury Retrograde at 13º17’ Libra

(12:33 PM ET) Moon in Capricorn trine Uranus at 13º42’ Taurus

(8:26 PM ET) Moon in Capricorn square Mars at 18º17’ Libra

(11:25 PM ET) Moon in Capricorn square the Sun at 20º00’ Libra

This brings us into Tuesday where the Moon’s first aspect is towards Mercury Retrograde in Libra, who has just separated from a conjunction with both the Sun and Mars. There may be stagnation and delays in your plans to move forward because of new, or conflicting, information. There also may be a lot of stagnation coming up that can turn into frustration. The Sun has already conjoined Mars, and now they are starting to separate around 2º today. Moon square Mars is conflict, feeling halted or held back by someone in pursuit of your goals. Authority figures since Mars is in the 10th sign from the Moon in Libra. Once the Moon applies to a square with the Sun, right as it’s crossed into the 3rd Decan of Libra, this gives us perspective on the eye of the storm. What is the center of the conflict or the issue? This Decan is the 4 of Swords. There’s a meditative or patient nature to this. Where do we find our serenity? Where is the eye of the hurricane? It’s usually very calm in the eye. This may be a good time to think about what’s come your way. You have an opportunity for leadership when the Moon applies to the Sun. We are really able to analyze what the Mercury/Mars Cazimi on Oct 9th was all about. We get a chance to understand the core of the issue in who has the upper hand in the power dynamics of the relationships you’re in, Mars understands their opponent well, and Libra overcoming Capricorn is Venus overcoming Saturn, and this can be indicative of the principles of fairness and peacemaking overcoming or overpowering separation or isolation. This makes me think of having to keep up a certain image for certain people, but the act is getting tiring. There’s an opportunity for how someone feels to be revealed today. It is Mars Day after all, and this square dynamic becomes activated for the day.

Wednesday Oct 13th

(1:10 AM ET) Moon in Capricorn sextile Neptune at 21º01’ Pisces

(6:53 AM ET) Moon conjoins Pluto at 24º19’ Capricorn

VOID MOON: 6:53 AM ET to 4:47 PM ET

(3:26 PM ET) Venus in Sagittarius sextile Saturn at 6º53’ Aquarius

(4:47 PM ET) INGRESS: Moon enters Aquarius

This brings us into the middle of the Week, Wednesday, and the Moon is now traveling through the later half of Capricorn, and will start running the void. While the Moon is running the void, Venus connects to Saturn through a sextile. There are agreements and commitments that are made. Alliances have shifted and people are happy where they are. While Venus was squaring Saturn when it was traversing through Scorpio, there may have been some themes of emotional rejection, pain, feeling like you’re not liked, excluded, or isolation, this Venus sextile to Saturn allows us to feel a breath of fresh air of freedom. There is freedom in knowing that you have some freedom to explore and not feel trapped in the same cycles. Fire demands to explore, and Venus flirts with the Jupiterian flames. There’s the ability to be validated, supported, and like there is a safety net to catch you when you fall. It’s important to be able to rely on other people. Don’t be afraid to ask for help, even if it’s just a get-together. There’s something pleasantly sobering to where people stand with each other now. Afterward, the Moon enters Aquarius and highlights this aspect over into Thursday.

Thursday Oct 14th

(4:54 AM ET) Moon conjoins Saturn at 6º53’ Aquarius

(6:03 AM ET) Moon in Aquarius sextile Venus at 7º32’ Aquarius

(1:08 PM ET) Moon in Aquarius trine Mercury Retrograde at 11º32’ Libra

(4:51 PM ET) Moon in Aquarius square Uranus at 13º37’ Taurus

The Moon highlights this Venus sextile Saturn aspects through a conjunction to Saturn first, and only an hour after to a sextile to Venus. On Jupiter’s Day, this is about connections with other people. The Moon here may bring agreements and verbal exchange of optimism for the future. Maybe you’re collaborating or going to be working with someone. You never know who you’ll meet during a Mercury Retrograde. Especially in Libra, there’s always someone else or some other force at hand. The Moon trine Mercury Retrograde in Aquarius, transfers the light over from Venus to Mercury just 7 hours after the Moon, Venus Sextile, and this talks about emerging and starting new plans for collaboration. Go on an adventure. Plan a trip. Doesn’t need to be far. Mercury is now becoming a Morning Star, since it conjoined the Sun on Oct 9th. When planets are conjoined with the Sun, it is called a “Cazimi”, which translates to “in the heart of the sun”. The planet is strengthened and starts a new cycle by returning to the source, the Sun. We understand and have eureka moments during the Cazimi. It purges everything that was old and needed to die out when it was an Evening Star and Retrograde, it was moving towards the Sun’s Beams. But now Mercury and the Sun are mutually separating from each other, reborn, revitalized, and ready to make the right decisions and choices by gaining perspective from a consensus (Saturn).

Friday Oct 15th

(3:57 AM ET) Moon in Aquarius trine Mars at 19º49’ Libra

(7:46 AM ET) Sun in Libra trine Jupiter at 22º20’ Aquarius

(8:29 AM ET) Moon conjunct Jupiter at 22º20’ Aquarius

(8:32 AM ET) Moon in Aquarius trine the Sun at 22º22’ Libra

VOID MOON: 8:32 AM ET to 10:21 PM ET

(10:21 PM ET) INGRESS: Moon enters Pisces

As we move over into Friday, the Moon makes a trine to Mars, who is also becoming a morning star, moving out of the Sun’s Beams, and is also being reborn and revitalized, as it moves closer towards it’s home sign of Scorpio at the end of the month. We begin motion and plans of action now. The Sun will also trine Jupiter in Aquarius, and this gives us support and direction for who we should be working with, who we should be collaborating with, who we should be in community with! The Moon will then move towards a trine to the Sun. I like to think of this as generosity, teamwork, and group-related efforts towards achieving a goal. There are people supporting you for the decisions you make. Now that the Sun has trine Jupiter, Jupiter will begin the process of stationing Direct, which will happen by the beginning of next Week, along with Mercury. The Moon will be void for approximately 15 hours, and a good majority of the day, so if you need a break to relax, you take it. Prioritize taking care of yourself and going on adventures, having fun, going with the sun, spontaneity. You don’t need to have a plan, just unwind in the mystery. See what you find!

Saturday Oct 16th

(4:59 PM ET) Moon in Pisces square Venus at 10º09’ Sagittarius

(9:23 PM ET) Mercury Retrograde in Libra sextile Venus at 10º21’ Sagittarius

(11:14 PM ET) Moon in Pisces sextile Uranus at 13º32’ Taurus

Shifting over into Saturday, this is our first Saturday with Saturn freshly stationed Direct over the week, and we get an interesting square between the Moon and Venus in the two domiciles of Jupiter, Sagittarius and Pisces. This duality deals with external exploration and internal mystery and wisdom. The seeking and the retaining of wisdom. The truth. There’s an opportunity to speak your truth with Mercury Retrograde sextile Venus. This makes this transit a lot sweeter because it looks like people are able to talk about things and make it work. Coming to agreements. People agreeing on truths (Sagittarius). The benefics are heavy on this Saturday, people get real about expressing themselves. Express yourself, don’t repress yourself. There’s an understanding of who to trust, and who is there as a cheerleader. Mercury is being cheerleaded by Venus in Sagittarius and Mercury rises from the Beams of the Sun. It’s a day to hold space for what people need to get off their chest.

Sunday Oct 17th

(8:12 AM ET) Sun in Libra square Pluto at 24º20’ Capricorn

(12:59 PM ET) Moon conjoin Neptune at 20º55’ Pisces

(7:24 PM ET) Moon in Pisces sextile Pluto at 24º20’ Capricorn

When we move over into next Sunday, our first aspect is the Sun squaring Pluto, which exposes what was once hidden. What is beneath the facade? What is behind the curtain? Does this paint a pretty picture? Or is it just an illusion? What is real? Perception matters, but at the end of all perception is one objective thing we’re looking at. There’s the potential to understand the power dynamics that drive a person towards exposing something or shining a light on something that might not be easy to deal with makes our imagination run wild with the Moon conjoining Neptune just 5 hours after. Our minds can run anywhere, but we need to give ourselves room to sober down and let the intensity of these feelings arise. When we speak our truth, we tend to feel the need to defend ourselves and prove ourselves. Think about who is even worthy of hearing your truth. This is the week building up to the Full Moon in Aries next week on Wednesday October 20th. A lot of this Mercury Retrograde cycle is about relationships and power dynamics, and the Sun square Pluto reveals people’s ulterior motive, finding out the truth. Information getting leaked with the Moon applying to Neptune. Exposing something that was hidden and behind the scene but was always lurking in the background, Neptune tends to represent those types of experiences, like an undercurrent or undertoe.

Wrapping Up the Week

Now that we’re at the end of the week, the Moon going through this half of the Zodiac is the buildup to the Full Moon on Wednesday October 20th at 27º26’ Aries. There’s a lot of needing to value honesty and the truth with Venus in Sagittarius, and she is really the star of the show last week and next week. There’s a lot of opportunity for growth this week, and especially as the fire energy starts to ramp up with this lunation, which will be in a lose trine to Venus, honestly, identity, creating experiences, and illuminating people to truth or information, the Full Moon is on FIRE! Be yourself. Be bold. Mercury will be freshly Direct as will Jupiter. The tide starts to turn around, and we find some support and help as we move closer into November-December, which are some of the last major months for 2021.

Also, if you can in your location go out stargazing, please do so! It’s going to be nice this week to see all the planets in the sky. You can currently see Venus right after Sunset until 2 hours after sunset. The Moon will be visible at Sunset with Saturn and Jupiter for the majority of the night. As they’re currently applying towards a Square with the Sun as the Sun gets ready to ingress into Scorpio on Saturday October 23rd.

Here are some photos I’ve taken of the sky from the past week
