Geomancy is a divination system that produces answers to questions through a binary system of lines — and dots • which produce 16 figures in total that are delineated in a tableau in a yes/no fashion.

The knowledge of Geomancy originally stems from the angel Jibra’il (alayhi as-Salaam) who revealed it to the Prophet Idris (alayhi as-Salaam), and it historically originates in Africa, closely linked to Ifa, Hakata, and Sikidy divination found across the continent. In the Islamicate World, this practice is known as Ilm Al Raml, or the ​the Science of the Sands​. It is said to be the sister science to astrology and shares a lot of commonality in their associations.

The Geomancer starts by entering into a state of ritual purity through ablutions and cleansings of the body and method casting the divination, either by sand, paper/pen, or dice. Then will then recite prayers and verses before the casting the tableau while holding a yes/no question in the mind. The question is answered by the oracle which is used to diagnose the querent’s situation, predict its outcome, and finally prescribe remedies moving forward.

Geomancy has a unique ability as a divination system to get a clear-cut yes or no answer to a question. It is best to approach Geomancy when in a clear state of mind, calm, and ready to recieve clarity on your matter. It is not advised to seek out divination when anxiousness or hoping to get a flattering response.

What Kinds of Questions can Geomancy Answer?

Here are some examples of how geomancy questions can be framed and what topics they involve

• Anything that is framed as Yes/No question

• Will I get promoted at work? (Career/Work questions)

• Should I travel to ___? (travel related questions)

• Do they like me? (love, sex, and romance questions)

• Will he reply to my message? (letters, messages, responses)

• Is it auspicious to enter into business partnership (contracts, business agreements)

• Will I win this battle in court? (Legal matters and opponents)

• Have I been cursed? (Anything about curses, spiritual disruptions, or jinn)

• Is there Evil Eye being directed my way? (Anything about envy, jealousy, and enmity from others)

• What are this person’s intentions towards me? (To sus out whether someone has ill intent or is truthful and honest)

• Will I recover from this illness? (Medical Geomancy questions)

• Will I move out in the next year? (changes in housing and living situation)

I am currently offering apprentice-level geomancy as a student under the teachings of Ali A. Olomi.

To book a session, send me an email to astrobymax@gmail.com. We will email back and forth to formulate a clear question for the oracle. Once a clear question has been formed, I will cast the tableau and send it your way along with my delineation and remedies for your situation in an audio file.

My turn-around time is 72 Hours at maximum. If your situation is urgent please state that in your email and I will make time to cast it as soon as possible.

At my discretion, geomancy inquiries may be turned away if clients are misuing divination to cope with anxiousness or mental health disorders. In such case, I will defer you to your medical-care provider who may be more suited to handle your situation. Geomancy divination is not a replacement for mental health services.
