The Revolution in astrology refers to the moment the Sun returns to the same position it was it in the zodiac when you were born. This is commonly known as the Solar Return, Solar Revolution, and the technique in Islamicate Astrology is known as the Revolution of Years.

It is a new horoscope that is cast on your birthday every year and is delineated in tandem with your natal chart to see how the events predicted through the fardar, directions, and profections will show up in the year.

Symbolically, the Solar Revolution is important because it is a renewal of life. Abu Ma’shar tells us in the Great Introduction that the Sun is responsible for composing forms, animate beings, and life in this world, according to the powers embedded within it by Allah ﷻ. Your birthday is your renewal of life, however the conditions of birth are not the same as they are now.

The Revolution of the Years Session - Initial Reading

Revolution of the Years sessions are best booked within the three month leading up to your birthday. I like focus on prediction especially in my sessions and sometimes the events of the year will arrive before your birthday.

We will start the session analyzing your time lords in the nativity and how they shift in the revolution. This includes your Directions, Fardars, Profections, and Lord of the Turn. We’ll then examine the Solar Revolution horoscope interpreting the Revolution of the Soul, changes in Fortune in the year, predictions, and prescriptions. Finally, we’ll explore your monthly timing and fine tune predictions down to the exact date!

This is a 2 hour session.

Revolution of the Years - Follow Up Reading

In our follow up session, this should be booked around a month to 3 months after your birthday. We will examine some of the Lots of the Revolution, Monthly Timing, and Monthly Revolution. This will allow us to get into the nitty gritty of how the events of the year will unfold.

Revolution of the Months - 6 Month Follow Up

6 Months after your birthday, you should book the follow up session to check in about how the year has gone down. We’ll review of some of the monthly tables we’ve created to track out the previous events and use Monthly Profections, Continuous Transfers and Monthly Revolutions to pan out the trajectory of the remaining 6 months of the year.
